Description
Haleakala Craters are at the top of Maui, some 10,000 ft above sea level. The area is surrounded by a National Park. While the clouds do cover the craters at times, it is also common that the area is above the clouds and surrounded by white on all sides. Taken in June 2015, Sony A7r.

Wow now that is quite a dramatic landscape. It goes from the sweep of different colored volcanic rock terrain that leads the eye to the clouds, the craters and the mountains in the background.
