Description
The old railroad tracks on the east side of Walker Lake, central Nevada, near Hawthorne. Hawthorne is still stores munitions in bunkers from the United States' wars.
This photo won first place in the Sept 2016 contest "No Green," among 2233 entries. Thank you, Ethos Lambousa of Cyprus.
It also won first place in the Fine Art America "Wide Open Spaces" contest in May 2014, and third place in "Railroad Tracks" October 2014.
This picture makes a great 18x24 vertical print and really comes alive printed on metal!
