The beautiful "Clothespin" tree in Yosemite National Park. Countless fires throughout the decades nearly severed this tree's trunk, creating a space in it large enough for a small truck to drive through. This giant is in the famous mariposa Grove.
Mariposa Grove, located in southern Yosemite National Park, is home to several hundred Giant Sequoias, which are some of the largest and oldest trees in the world. The Clothespin Tree is located about one mile past the entrance to Mariposa Grove.
A tram is available to escort visitors to the groves most popular sites.
