Taken at the South Tufa at sunset, Mono Lake rarely disappoints. Mono Lake's modern landscape has been shaped over millions of years by faulting and volcanic activity. It is located on slope of the eastern Sierra Nevada Mountains, along Highway 395 near Lee Vining, California.
