Rainclouds are starting to clear around Mt Rose and Slide Mountain, south of Reno Nevada. Low lying clouds have socked in south Reno and the Mt Rose Highway. These mountains, part of the Eastern Sierras, are popular ski resorts with beautiful views.

in the foreground is actually the foothills of SW Reno (some of the most expensive real estate in the area), Washoe Lake is further south, down 395 about 10 miles past Slide Mtn. thanks for the comment!
